• Osspore CAS BONE VOID FILLER  especially developed for regeneration of alveolar bone fallowing periodontitis.

A fast setting setting, injectable and mouldable ceramic bone graft substitute material .. Mixing the components, with the liquid to smooth paste for easy injection by injection device, results in a viscous material intended to fill voids in difficult access areas.

Description
OSSPORE CAS BONE VOID FILLER .
The major constituents of the powder are hydroxy apatite and calcium sulfate hemihydrate and TCP. The liquid is saline with radio opaque iodine. By combining hydroxy-apatite,TCP, and calcium sulfate an optimal balance is achieved between resorption rate and bone in-growth rate. Calcium sulfate acts as a resorbable carrier for hydroxy apatite has a slow resorption rate, high osteo-conductivity promoting bone in-growth and gives long term structural support to newly formed bone.
The material is placed into the bone void under visual inspection or under radiographic monitoring during open or percutaneous surgery.
The paste may be injected into the defect, moulded by hand and digitally placed into the defect, or used to prepare beads that are placed into the defect.
When fully set in vivo,OSSPORE BONE FILLER is drill able and can be used to for attachments.

Biocompatibility
The product has been evaluated to be biological safe to use (no unacceptable biological risks have been found). The components of the implantable paste have been used in humans for decades.
The plastic components of the product, that come in direct or in direct contact with the patient, are all of USP Class VI or equivalent. The final product has been extensively tested with Biocompatibility in-vitro and in-vivo tests, following the requirements of EN ISO 10993-1.

SETTING PARAMETERS
Pre mix Liquid and powder and and fill syringe: 2min
Inject: 2min
Wait for paste to set 10min
Drill after 15min

Mixing and Moulding by hand
Mix powder and liquid: 2-3 minwait for 5min
Start moulding : 1min
Place in void and sculptor for upto 3min
Allow to set: 3min
Drill final set for attachments.
Bead tray use.
Mix and fill tray: 5min
wait to harden:10mins
Release from tray and place in defect.
Use press mix material to seal in edges and overlap host bone.
