Apart from chemical adhesion and biocompatibility, the product has a brisk snap set. Restomolar is also recommended as a pedodontic product where dental caries could not be removed effectively and some arrest of carious process is desired. Also useful for general use.

Permanent restoration of low stress posterior teeth. Semi -permanent restoration of teeth in cases of rampant caries and where all dental caries could not be removed due to equipment and personnel limitations. Also useful for cementation of crowns, bridges and orthobands for immediate restoration of traumatized teeth.
